Infrastructure and mining capture enquiries.

Large, complex assets need honest scoping — handheld capture where it fits, long-range or partner-supported workflows where it does not.

This is an enquiry page, not a guaranteed service. Large-asset projects are scoped case by case.

Asset scale changes the toolkit.

Tunnels, depots, plants, corridors, and stockpiles sit at the edge of what handheld capture should promise. Parts of these assets — plant rooms, access corridors, built structures — suit a Lixel K2 walk perfectly. Other parts need long-range platforms, mobile mapping, or aerial capture.

Volumet’s position is deliberately honest: the K2 rents for the walkable parts; the Lixel L2 Pro and aerial workflows are case-by-case enquiries, scoped with partners where operator capability is required. No guaranteed service is implied at this scale.

How rental helps

Where each tool fits.

Walkable structures

Plant rooms, depots, and built structures — standard K2 rental territory.

Corridors & long range

L2 Pro class capture, reviewed per project for availability and logistics.

Aerial complements

Roofs, stockpiles, and terrain — partner-supported drone enquiries only.

Typical workflows

Scoping before promising.

Large-asset enquiries start with scope: the asset, the outputs, the tolerances, the access conditions. From there the honest answer might be a standard K2 rental, an L2 Pro conversation, a partner introduction — or a recommendation to engage a specialist surveying firm.

Large-asset capture, answered.

Can a handheld scanner really document infrastructure?
Parts of it — plant rooms, depots, access corridors, and built structures are well within handheld capture. Long corridors, terrain, and aerial-scale features need other platforms, and we will say so.
Is the L2 Pro available for mining or corridor projects?
Case by case. L2 Pro enquiries are reviewed individually for availability, logistics, and fit — no standing inventory is claimed.
Do you provide monitoring or deformation analysis?
No. Those are specialist engineering services. Volumet provides capture equipment access and honest scoping, with referrals where appropriate.
