A controlled demo tells you what a scanner can do in ideal conditions. An evaluation rental tells you what it does on your sites, with your team, feeding your pipeline, which is the only question that matters before a five-figure purchase or a workflow change.
Evaluation rentals are quoted per project and can include onboarding, a structured test plan, and workflow support. You keep every dataset, so the evaluation produces working evidence, not just impressions.
Evaluation rentals work best for technical teams with a concrete question and a real site to test on. They are a poor fit for projects that actually need a scanning service, or specifications that demand instrument classes the K2 does not claim.
