Photographs flatten a space.

A gallery of stills tells a prospective tenant, buyer or event organiser almost nothing about how a space actually works: how the rooms connect, where the light falls, whether the ceiling clears the rig they intend to fly.

A navigable capture answers those questions before anyone books a viewing. It also survives the campaign, becoming a record of the space rather than a set of marketing images with a shelf life.

The tour, the scene and the floor plan all come from the same capture session, so the marketing set stays internally consistent. For venues, the same dataset doubles as a planning reference: sightlines, clearances and rigging positions can be checked from the model.

What is the difference between a virtual tour and a 3DGS scene?
A tour is a navigable set of positions you step between, which is ideal for viewing a property. A 3DGS scene is a continuous photoreal reconstruction you can move through freely, which suits web experiences, XR and film use more than listings.
Who hosts the tour, and who owns it?
That is settled in the quote rather than assumed. Matterport tours involve a subscription, and we are direct about whose account holds it, because that determines who keeps the tour if the relationship ends.
Can we get floor plans from the same capture?
Yes, and it is usually the efficient way to do it. The scan that produces the tour also supports dimensioned floor plans, so you are not paying for two separate site visits.
How long does a capture session take?
For a typical residential unit or small venue, a few hours on site. Larger venues are scoped by floor area and by how many separate spaces need covering, and we confirm that before the visit.
