Four modules, one chain of custody.

Cyclone is a family rather than a single application. Which modules you need depends on the deliverable: capture and registration cover most rental projects; 3DR and ENTERPRISE come in when you are producing or hosting models.

Cyclone FIELD 360

The tablet app for scanner control and on-site pre-alignment. Each REGISTER 360 PLUS licence includes access to it, so scans arrive already roughly aligned with field tags and images attached.

Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS

The registration and data-preparation core: guided workflows through to automated registration, with built-in QA reporting and batch export.

Cyclone 3DR and ENTERPRISE

3DR handles meshing, inspection and reporting; ENTERPRISE handles project and data management when the cloud has to be shared across a team.

Publishing out of Cyclone.

REGISTER 360 PLUS batch-exports to Leica-native and industry-standard formats. LGSx is the universal Leica project file for downstream CloudWorx, Cyclone 3DR and Hexagon GeoCloud use; RCP is the route into the Autodesk stack. Confirm the format you need before your rental starts.

Cyclone is licensed by Leica Geosystems, not by Volumet. If you rent the BLK360 G2 or RTC360 from us, tell us what you already hold: we will confirm what the kit ships with and what you need on your own workstation before the rental starts.

Is Cyclone included with a Leica rental?
Not by default. Cyclone is licensed by Leica Geosystems on subscription or permanent terms. Tell us in your enquiry which modules you hold and we will confirm what the rental kit covers, field control and on-site pre-alignment, versus what you need on your own workstation for office registration.
Which module do I actually need?
For most rental projects, Cyclone FIELD 360 for capture and REGISTER 360 PLUS for registration and publishing. Cyclone 3DR is for meshing, inspection and reporting deliverables. ENTERPRISE is for managing and sharing project data across a team.
What is the BLK Edition?
A version of REGISTER 360 PLUS optimised for the BLK product family. It carries the same cleaning, registration, QA and publishing tools, with import options tailored to BLK360, BLK2GO, BLK2FLY and BLK ARC data, from the scanner, from Cyclone FIELD 360, or from BLK Data Manager files.
Can I get the data into Revit?
Yes. REGISTER 360 PLUS publishes RCP for Autodesk ReCap and Revit, alongside LGSx for Leica downstream products and E57 or LAS for third-party tools. State the format you need before booking so it is verified at handover.
What hardware does it need?
A capable Windows workstation: registration benefits from a discrete GPU, plenty of RAM, and fast local storage. Field work runs on a tablet. Requirements can be confirmed before your rental.
