Scanner rental for facilities and asset documentation.

Rooms, plant, and operational spaces, documented as measurable spatial data your operations actually use.

Facility knowledge lives in too few heads.

Most facilities run on tribal knowledge: which riser carries what, what is behind that ceiling, how much clearance the plant room really has. When the person who knows leaves, or the contractor asks for drawings that do not exist, operations pay for it.

Periodic capture with a rented Lixel K2 turns that knowledge into data: point clouds of plant rooms, corridors, and operational spaces that answer measurement questions without a site visit, brief contractors accurately, and feed asset systems and digital twin platforms as they mature.

How rental helps

Documentation that answers questions.

Plant & riser capture

The congested spaces where clearance and routing questions actually arise.

Operational records

Measurable as-is documentation for maintenance planning and contractor briefing.

Twin & system feeds

Captures structured to feed asset registers and digital twin platforms over time.

Typical workflows

Periodic capture beats one-off surveys.

Facilities teams rent on a cadence (quarterly, or around shutdowns and fit-outs) and build a versioned spatial record of their estate. Because rental needs no capital approval, the documentation programme survives budget cycles that would kill a hardware purchase.

Facilities capture, answered.

Can we capture occupied, operational spaces?
Yes, handheld walkthrough capture is well suited to live facilities. Plan routes around operations and reflective or feature-poor areas, which onboarding covers.
How do captures feed our asset or twin system?
Through standard exports (LAS, E57, PLY, mesh) depending on what your platform ingests. Confirm ingestion formats before the first rental.
Is quarterly rental cheaper than buying a scanner?
For most facilities cadences, dramatically: four weekly rentals a year is a fraction of hardware cost, with no maintenance or obsolescence risk. The break-even arrives only with near-weekly use.
Can our own technicians do the capture?
Yes, that is the normal model. One onboarding session typically covers a small team, and guidance is available during the rental.
