What we supply

From setting out to scanning.

The instruments a Singapore survey, construction or engineering team buys, from the total station on site every day to the scanner that documents the finished building.

Total stations

Manual and robotic total stations for setting out, control and detail survey, in 1″ and 2″ accuracy classes and reflectorless ranges of 500 m to 1,000 m.

GNSS receivers

RTK rovers and base stations for control and topographic work, used in Singapore with network corrections from SLA's SiReNT service.

Auto and digital levels

Automatic levels for site levelling and digital levels where the readings have to be recorded and exported.

3D laser scanners

Terrestrial scanners for survey-grade building, plant and heritage capture, up to long-range systems such as the Trimble X12.

Handheld SLAM LiDAR

XGRIDS Lixel K1, K2 and L2 Pro handheld scanners, and PortalCam for 3DGS capture: whole floors and sites captured at walking pace.

Accessories and software

Tripods, tribrachs, prisms, poles, batteries and processing licences, quoted with the instrument or on their own.

Choosing the instrument

Start from the job, not the catalogue. A contractor setting out columns needs a total station; a surveyor fixing control over an open site needs GNSS; a team documenting a finished building needs a scanner. The table below is how we narrow it down on the first call.

The jobInstrumentWhat decides the model
Setting out, control traverses, detail surveyTotal stationAngular accuracy (1″ or 2″), reflectorless range, robotic or manual
Topographic survey, control on open sitesGNSS receiverRTK performance, tilt compensation, network corrections
Site levels, floor flatness, settlementAuto or digital levelAccuracy per km, whether readings must be recorded
Survey-grade building, plant or heritage captureTerrestrial laser scannerRange, accuracy, speed per station, registration workflow
Fast as-built capture of floors and sitesHandheld SLAM LiDARRelative accuracy, RTK, colour, processing software

For scanners, our device comparisons set the models side by side, and each scanner in the fleet has its own page, from the Lixel K2 to the Trimble X12.

Five things to check before you buy

The same model name can cover several instruments. These are the questions a buyer’s procurement asks after the order, so we settle them before the quotation goes out.

  • The exact variant. A total station sold as one model comes in accuracy classes (1″ or 2″) and reflectorless ranges (R500 or R1000). The quotation names the variant.
  • Firmware language. Some instruments are built for a particular market. Confirm the menus switch to English.
  • What is in the box. Batteries, charger, case and tribrach, and what is not: prisms and poles are often separate lines.
  • Warranty and service. Which warranty applies to the unit, and who services and calibrates it. Ask before you order and we answer plainly.
  • Software. Field and office software is often licensed by module. We price the modules you need separately rather than guessing.

Pricing, GST and payment

Every instrument gets its own quotation, so two options never add up to a meaningless total, and each comes with the manufacturer’s spec sheet in English. Volumet’s documents are issued by Live Brighter Pte. Ltd., which is not GST-registered: no GST is chargeable, and the invoice is headed “Invoice”, not “Tax invoice”, so your finance team’s three-way match does not stall on a GST line that is not there.

Payment is in full on confirmation of order, and delivery is scheduled on receipt of payment. The quotation states the delivery date against a payment date, which survives a slow approval cycle better than a promise of so many days.

Buying against a tender specification

A named model is a named model. Where your specification lists a particular instrument, we quote exactly that. If a sibling model on the same platform would do the job for less, we put it beside the compliant quote as an alternative, and it is only supplied with your written approval as an equivalent. Bundled items in the specification, such as training or scheduled calibrations, are priced as their own lines so you can compare like with like.

Delivery outside Singapore

Singapore firms often buy for projects elsewhere in the region. When the instrument is going to a site abroad, we can ship it straight to the project country instead of through Singapore, which usually lowers the price. We state the delivery terms on the quotation, and the consignee and importer of record are named up front so the shipment does not stop at the gate.

Rent, buy or have it surveyed

Buy when the instrument will be on site most weeks and your team owns the processing. If the need is one project, renting costs less and the scanners in our fleet can be tried on real work before you commit. If the need is a deliverable rather than an instrument, our team can do the scanning or the survey and hand over the drawings or model.

How buying works

From specification to delivery.

01Tell us the instrument

The model, or the job and the accuracy it needs. A tender specification is fine.

02Check the variant

Accuracy class, range, firmware language, what is in the box and the warranty, settled before we quote.

03Quotation

One quotation per instrument, with the English spec sheet and a delivery date tied to payment.

04Order and payment

Your purchase order and payment in full; delivery is scheduled on receipt.

05Delivery

To your office, your site, or straight to a project abroad, with the invoice your procurement expects.

What it costs

Quoted per instrument.

The price follows the exact variant, the accessories and where it is delivered, so every instrument gets its own quotation. No GST is chargeable on it.

FAQ

Common questions.

Which surveying instruments can you supply?

Total stations, GNSS receivers, auto and digital levels, terrestrial 3D laser scanners, handheld SLAM LiDAR scanners, and the tripods, prisms, poles, batteries and software that go with them. Tell us the model, or the job, and we quote the instrument that fits.

Are the instruments new?

Yes. We supply new instruments, sourced to order for each quotation.

Do your prices include GST?

No GST is chargeable. Volumet's documents are issued by Live Brighter Pte. Ltd., which is not GST-registered, so the price on the quotation is the price you pay.

What are the payment terms?

Payment in full on confirmation of order, and delivery is scheduled on receipt of payment. The quotation ties the delivery date to the payment date so both sides know where they stand.

Our tender names a specific model. Can you match it?

Yes. We quote the named model as specified. If a sibling model would do the same job for less, we offer it beside the compliant quote, never as a substitute, and only with your written approval.

What warranty comes with the instrument?

It depends on the instrument and the channel it comes through. Ask before you order and we tell you plainly which warranty applies to the unit you are quoted and who services it.

Do you provide English spec sheets?

Yes. Every quotation comes with the manufacturer's specification sheet in English, so procurement can check the variant, accuracy class and range line by line.

Can you deliver to a project outside Singapore?

Yes. We can ship straight to the project country, which often lowers the price because the goods never pass through Singapore. Tell us the destination and who the consignee will be.

Can I try a scanner before buying?

For the scanners in our own fleet, yes: rent one for a real project first. The Lixel K1, K2 and L2 Pro, PortalCam, Matterport Pro3, Leica BLK360 G2, Leica RTC360 and Trimble X12 are all available to rent by the week.

Would it be cheaper to have you do the survey?

Often, if the work is occasional. Buy when the instrument will be used most weeks; otherwise our team can capture the site and deliver the drawings or model instead.

Next step

Send us the model or the specification. We quote the instrument.
